Children’s Orthodontics

Children should be assessed by an orthodontist from the age of 7 to identify early problems, otherwise most orthodontic treatments are undertaken between the ages of 10-14 years of age. We practice evidence based orthodontic treatment, within an optimal developmental time, to improve treatment outcomes and efficiency.

Adult Orthodontics

Orthodontic treatment can be successful at any age and adults especially appreciate the benefits of a beautiful smile. Cosmetic orthodontic options are available that can minimise the visual impact of braces. Orthodontic treatments combined with other dental and surgical treatments can have a profound effect on your smile, feeling of well-being and self-esteem.

Testimonials

For as long as I can remember I have always been very self-conscious of my teeth. After visits to orthodontists in both the North and South of Ireland, I had given up hope that orthodontics could improve my smile, having been advised that jaw surgery would be my only option.

When I first heard I needed braces I was dreading it, but now I have finished treatment and my braces are off, I honestly can’t stop smiling. Looking back at the experience the occasional ache from the brace was so worth it and I know now I will have perfect smile for the rest of my life.

I was always very self conscious about my appearance, especially my smile. Opting for orthodontics and jaw surgery is honestly the best thing I have done for myself. I had braces for about 20 months before surgery and thankfully had a good recovery after the operation. I’m so happy with the results and seem so much more confident.

When I was young I unfortunately broke my two front teeth. I did have them repaired but after they broke for a second time, a lack of confidence prevented me from getting them fixed again.

I’m 14 years old and it’s just been one week since I finished my orthodontic treatment. I had brace to grow my jaw for six months then a fixed brace for 14months and although it was occasionally sore, I feel now that it was worthwhile doing all the hard work to discover an amazing result.
