At your first appointment we will listen to your concerns, undertake a thorough examination of your teeth and jaws and determine your orthodontic needs. This may include taking moulds of your teeth, photographs and x-rays. It may be that you are unhappy with the appearance of your teeth and smile, your dentist may have advised that some orthodontic treatment is necessary to prevent dental disease in the future or orthodontics may be needed to prepare your mouth for implants, bridges or crowns.

After this appointment we will provide you with various treatment options and work with you to formulate the treatment plan that is best for you.

Orthodontic fees

Consultation Fee
The fee for the first consultation is 100 Euro. This covers your consultation including a thorough examination of your teeth and jaws, all x-ray costs, clinical photographs, diagnostic records and a treatment planning discussion outlining your treatment options to formulate a treatment plan that is best for you.

The following fees are guidelines and reflect the range of complexity and duration of treatment for different orthodontic problems. A definitive fee can only be given following a complete diagnostic assessment and will depend on the complexity of your problem, duration of your treatment and the treatment option you choose.

Orthodontic fees cover the cost of treatment, orthodontic retainers when active treatment is complete and 12 months of supervision while in retainers. Reasonable fixed appliance breakages are covered by this fee but excessive damage or repeated breakages will accrue an additional cost. There is a fee for replacement or repair of lost or damaged removable appliances or orthodontic retainers.

Metal fixed orthodontic treatment for both arches cost ranges from 3000-4000 Euro
Functional appliances to correct jaw positional problems 1000 Euro
Removable appliance treatments 500-750 Euro

Adults
Metal fixed orthodontic treatment for both arches cost ranges from 3500-4500 Euro
Multidisciplinary orthodontics priced on individual basis depending on case complexity
Ceramic appliances are an additional cost of 300 Euro per arch
Invisalign 4500-5000 Euro
Lingual orthodontics 5000-9000 Euro

Payment plans
Orthodontic fees are payable over the course of treatment with an initial deposit at the start of treatment. Interest free flexible payment plans are available to cover the cost of treatment.
